　October 20 is the anniversary of the founding of the star of the dawn. It is the day when there was a memorable thing for us on that day. On October 20, 1946 61 years ago, founder Mali Therese de subiran of the support Maria monastic order which was the establishment mother's body of the star of the dawn was detected as the woman who made a model of it of people now in the Catholic Church in Vatican Saint petoro sanctuary, and an expression declared as a saint publicly was performed. On the day of this expression, a star of the dawn is born. 

 

  La Salle father of the Society of Jesus which worked in Japan just on that day attended the ceremony. He was a person in charge of the district under jurisdiction of Society of Jesus Japan at the time. It was engaged earnestly in the request when I wanted Japan to come to the propagator who could cooperate with the education in a young generation in Japan which became the burnt field after the war, the sisters. He visited the president of the support Maria society after beatification and asked for dispatching a member to Japan. 

 

  Taking the opportunity of the beatification of the founder, president sister Mali Elise who had a wish that I wanted to begin some new thing read this coincidence with "an appeal from God" and decided that I sent a sister to Japan promptly. 

 

　Four sisters who became the foundation of the star of the dawn in December, 1947, the following day arrived at Fukuyama. I might go on the room as Japan, shoes totally different in words, culture or the lifestyle. Besides, life to lack everyday life was waiting after the war when there was not the room. Only trust to God whom such sisters were poor literally, and nothing had was an authority. Work to found a school from the open place may imagine that there were various difficulty and pains. 

 

  Mali Irene is writing in the diary, "I will leave all to God." ahead of April, 1949, the Fukuyama Akenohoshi girl Junior High School opening of a school. The sisters' way of life was "way of founder Mali Therese of the meeting of life to establish deep trust to God" itself. The conventional step of the star of the dawn is on this trust. It is an invitation from Mali Therese to each us who learn "the trust from God" in a star of the dawn in school mottos, and we inherit the heart, too and want to keep moving forward.
